Ted Gott launches the English version of our website

Ted Gott, a curator at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, looks back at the eventful story of how  Mort du Père (1968), a major work by Ipoustéguy, came to be part of the collection of this major Australian museum. He offers a behind-the-scenes look at the acquisition, the debates it sparked, and the unique place this monumental sculpture now occupies within the NGV’s collections.
